Thanks to Dad for finding this circa 1980's photo of my dear and loving mom, Frances Slater, and me, dressed to kill in our Hungarian folk costumes. Note that Frances is wearing a set of hand-embroidered and designed Hungarian clothing. In order to create this beautiful piece of folkart, she studied with a master teacher who taught her how to design the floral motifs following the age-old traditions of the Magyars. Linda is wearing a costume that Fran purchased from her mentor.

In honor of my lovely Aunt Doris and Uncle Dick and my wonderful cousins, Debbie and Jonathan, here's an old picture I found among my parents' old photos. I'm framing and giving the original to you, Doris, when we see you next! Love, Linda and Charlie
